Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are two huge theme parks that share the same parking facility at Universal Resorts in Orlando Florida. At the main entrance of both parks is located Universal city walk, this is a complex of restaurants and entertainment venues that share as well the same parking.

The first thing to keep in mind when driving to Universal is to enter the correct Address in the GPS. This is something that is better to do manually rather than just looking for Universal Studios in ‘points of interest’ because one risks ending up in a different place, for example the employees parking lot. The right direction to enter in the GPS is: 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando Florida. 32819

There is no free parking at Universal Studios or in the hotels part of Universal Resort nor in any place near by. Some people park at restaurants and then walk but this can take a long time. Most days parking is free after 6pm for Florida residents.

There is a facility called preferred parking, the only difference is that in theory one can park close to the main entrance, so one has to walk less. The truth is that general parking is good enough and even for those who do not like to walk too much there are moving sidewalks.

There is a valet parking service, for this one pays $15 for less than two hours and $35 for over two hours. They offer a special service called Red Carpet, for this service the charge is $45.
