Marco Polo Club, Airport Lounge Review: Venice, Italy

The Marco Polo Club was a very pleasant surprise when departing Venice Airport Internationally. The lounge sits on the second floor tucked away from the bustle of the rest of the airport and its services, variety and atmosphere really stood out as a top lounge.

First Impressions:

The lounge stood out to us immediately for its high ceilings, comfortable seats, couches, outdoor balcony and various rooms. In short space was not a problem even when things can feel tight in other areas of this airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They provided WiFi details, circulated constantly, offer food and drink and any alterations we would possibly want.

It was nice to see a team of proactive and anticipatory individuals working here, their attention to service was better than many top lounges and many hotels too.

The Lounge offers Free Access to a variety of Airline reward programs as well as comprehensive lounge reward programs like Priority Pass. There is a rewards program from Venice Airport for frequent travelers called Club il Milione which offers free access and anyone can pay for access for just 28 Euros per visit. The Lounge is open from 05:00-23:00 each day.

The lounge offers hot and cold snacks, shower facilities, beverages including a range of coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcoholic ones. There is TV, magazines, newspapers, work stations and plenty of places to see flight status updates. There are good charging outlets available all over as well.
