Fairfield Inn and Suites Birmingham/Pelham Alabama

The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott good hotel for a road trip or a city stay in Birmingham Alabama. It is conveniently located next to the Interstate and part of a larger hotel, shopping center and restaurant complex. I found it to be a welcoming place with efficient staff, a recent renovation and spacious rooms.

The Hotel is a category 3 in the Marriott Rewards system which means it is a good value stay for using points and rewards. 10,000-15,000 points per night.  There is a free breakfast which consists of hot and cold items, a great time saver and decent quality food with healthy options. I really appreciated it getting out on the road. The Wifi was free and speedy all throughout the property. The fitness center was adequate and the pool is seasonal. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist at both check in and check out.

The suites are rooms with a comfy bed, large sitting area and a sparkling kitchen stocked with a full size fridge, stove, stone countertop and all the accessories one would need to cook and eat. The entertainment system and technology are all up to date and the quiet, not always guaranteed in large hotels by motorways was wonderful.

Nearby attractions from the hotel include: Oak Mountain State Park, The Pelham Civic Complex and Verizon Amphitheater UAB, American Village,Vulcan Park, Hoover Met, and the Riverchase Galleria and Patton Creek Malls.

The hotel’s quality is notable, you are getting more than what you pay for and the location is very agreeable for any functions in and around Birmingham Alabama.
