Culinaria is a premium grocery store located in the heart of the St. Louis Downtown. It is minutes away from the most important hotels and tourist attractions and it offers a convenient free parking and extended opening hours.

Culinaria is becoming very popular among discerning travelers to the city. It is a supermarket that belongs to the very well known Schnucks company but it strives to be more discerning and upscale.

There are two floors. The first floor is a typical grocery store, but it puts a special emphasis in organic, sustainable and well selected brands. There is on site a deli corner and a bakery that prepares sandwiches to order and sells hot meals. The salad bar offers excellent selections of vegetables and other premium ingredients.

The second floor carries an surprisingly big selection of wines with good prices, there is as well a bar with tables where one can enjoy the food from the supermarket and wines by the glass.

Culinaria sells a lot of in house brands that focus mostly in healthy options for the demanding shopper. Located on the corner of Olive and 9th Street it is open daily from 6 am to 9 pm including Sunday. It is great option for those staying in any of the downtown hotels. It takes only 10 minutes walking from hotels such as the Four Seasons or the Lumiere Casino.

The service is attentive and efficient, one is paying a little premium as is usual for these kinds of stores but it is really a great place for those visiting St. Louis who are looking for good quality food with a nice selection of healthy options.
