The Macau hotel scene is a very competitive one as this international gaming city is constantly growing, achieving new standards and providing new attractions and luxuries. The Conrad Macau is one of the best and brightest hotel attractions in the city.
A Unique hotel:
The moment of arrival gives one impressions of grandeur and immensity. The Cotai central complex is massive. It is composed of three major hotels operating 4,000 rooms combined in this joint venture between Conrad, Sheraton and Holiday Inn. Each hotel keeps its own theme and amenities yet all are connected via the grand shops and casinos in a space so large it could take a large part of your vacation just exploring the common areas.
I was greeted by a friendly doorman and concierge assistant who warmly directed me to the check in. The lobby décor is modern with a touch of Chinese antiques. I was accompanied to my room by a member of the team and I was invited to specify anything I might like to change or need.
So many casino hotels are impersonal and overworked. No so here, I saw from the first moment that from the smallest to the highest position of employee I encountered there was an anticipation of my needs, each team member took the initiative to speak with me, ask a question, offer a suggestion or just chat.
The junior suite was a delight. The room was spacious and furnished in a comfy style. The beds were incredibly soft, the living room a scenic spot from which to admire some of the nearby towers and hotels with the bathroom full of colored stones and rich woods. The room had a deep soaking tub, complimentary Nespresso and Evian water too.
The Conrad has an excellent outdoor pool complete with relaxation areas, Jacuzzi and attentive staff looking to assist with any concerns. One may also cross over to the Holiday Inn pool complex for great views of the Cotai Strip. The fitness facility is state of the art with amenities like Fiji water, heart rate monitors, cold towels and exercise tips from the trainers. The locker rooms have excellent Jacuzzi, steam and sauna facilities as well. The personalized attention is impeccable and the staff had memorized my name, those of my friends and our exercise routines almost immediately.
The hotel has direct access to hundreds of luxury shops, non stop gaming in two major casinos, plenty of restaurants, cafes, shows, attractions and it is a five minute walk from the Venetian and City of Dreams complexes. Conrad Macau will allow you to appreciate yourself in the heart of this luxury through their passion for service.
