The city of Ankara is easily reached by two distinct bus systems servicing between the airport and city center. These buses stop in several major spots in the city and are very easy to board. Tickets are purchasable from the driver.

As regards public transport Ankara municipality offers public bus transports to and from the airport. The bus number is 442 and it stops on multiple locations including Ulus, Kızılay, and Aşti. Those looking to get to hotels in the modern business district like JW Marriott, Movenpick and Ramada will find them within easy reach of Asti Bus station. The price is 5.25 TL for this bus and it fills up quick at the airport, but a new one departs every 20 minutes or so. Bus 442 runs in a loop thus its possible to take this bus from any of its stops back to the airport. The departure from ASTI station begins at 06:00 and ends at 23:20 and it runs from the airport to Asti from 06:40 to 23:40 each day. To take this bus from the airport catch it outside the domestic arrivals hall on the ground floor.
